Skill Livelihood Program in Camp | 9th Oct'2020

Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY) is the flagship scheme of the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE) & National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC).

Hope On Foundation organized a skill livelihood training program at our Camp intending to enable a large number of Indian youth to take up industry-relevant skill training that will help them in securing a better livelihood.

We have guest speakers to share the brief content and procedure of the program. Two beneficiaries were also invited on the occasion to share their experiences.

More than 150 slum dwellers attended the event, mostly women, who participated in the program. Participation in Skill Training of different age groups irrespective of genders shows the urge of working among the people for livelihood.

This pandemic taught us that our livelihood is very much dependent on monotonous work that we are doing year after year and in lockdown when people became unemployed now in this new normal everyone is looking for a job.
